This product was deveolped for dedicated Data Bus status testing. The Most of ATE system has sofrware trigger system for data checking on Data bus line.
In this case,
Test System has errors during checking data bus line using homing loop statements. Because, Test sysem can't catched short peried data pattersn. This data pattern is very short times under 10ns. Of couse, If test System has hardware base triger system then can be detect it.

But,
It's very diffecult and so expensive to install the above systems.
So, Testing House know this issues and began develop to clear problems for satisfaction customer needs. We called Datacather16. This product is very easy and power system for data checking on data bus. Just wiring of datacatcher's bus line to DUT databus line parallel. and need a few control wires for control system.

If has test failed, failed data bit's LED has turn-on.
If has test passed, channel PASS LED has turn-on.

Of course,
This product generate pass / fail digital signal automatecaly to ATE system.
ATE system only check high or low voltage on pass/faill signal outpin each channel.
It's very easy and quick. Datacather16 also write taget data bus code into serial E 2PROM via RS232 serial port.
